Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.

I really love it
The taste is amazing, sweet but not too much, perfect to eat between meals or just take it as an snack, easy and yummy, I'll buy it again all the time, it's my favourite high protein snack

Flapjacks
Got them on sale so def worth the price. At full price I'd be less inclined but happy I got them for the price I did this time. Awesome texture and very yummy as well as 20g protein! They are quite sweet, so feel like a dessert. There would be healthier ways to get more protein but they are the perfect snack for on the go or when you are craving something sweet. Goes Well With:A hot tea! Perfect mid-afternoon snack

Straight off the bat, these things are hard to eat, extremely dense and rich. I bought the chocolate. Great to eat when your out on the go needing to keep your protein up.
