Be careful - only a good batch is worth your money

I've been ordering this for years and have consistently noticed a huge discrepancy in quality between batches - you can never be sure if you'll get a good one or not. Generally I'll make a shake with 1 scoop protein & 1 scoop powdered oats. A good batch mixes in with the protein shake like heaven, is silky smooth and has an earthy but not overpowering taste. A bad batch is almost undrinkable. There are unappetising 'fluffy' bits that do not mix in at all, and taste grainy and make the shake almost undrinkable - to the point where I let it sit for minimum ~30mins for all the gunk to fall to the bottom so i can drink it through my teeth to get some semblance of a protein shake in. I suspect these have not been fine filtered to remove the bran. Be very careful ordering this. The last two bags I ordered were poor quality and I am seriously considering switching brands just to be sure I'll actually get a quality product. Only a good batch is worth your money - and you don't know if you'll get one or not until you've paid and it arrives on your doorstep!

Oats for life

Love these powdered oats. I use them in replacement of rolled oats for my breakfast. They work out really creamy when mixed with egg whites. I have nearly finished my 5kg bag and will be ordering more.

Bakers Delight

I ordered this flour after doing a search for healthy muffins that didn't contain wheat flour. I have to say that I have been able to bake the most delicious and filling banana muffins with it. Great as part of a healthy diet!

This is a great product it mixes well and the taste for me is great. I do not heat, I love it better cold..

Oat powder

It's powder, not flakes. That caught me out. Useful for shakes if you want control over your ingredients.

Definitely recommend

I've just tried these for the first time with soy milk as an afternoon preworkout snack. They taste amazing with my protein peanut butter and toffee flav drops. However, if microwaving with milk, definitely don't need as long as normal porridge and it went quite overdone quicker than my normal oats. The texture was amazing, not lumpy at all like normal oats. I only had one scoop and recommended amount is 2.5 scoops but one scoop filled me up loads. Will definitely buy again.
