- Add 50g of powder to your mug of choice.
- Add 70ml water or milk to the powder and mix to a paste.
- Microwave on 800watts (or similar) for 40 - 50 seconds, until the cake rises.
- Leave to stand for 30 seconds, eat and enjoy!

Not too sweet
Tasted great, very easy to make. I added banana and some granola to the top for texture. Was not too sweet, which is great as I was worried the mix would have too much sweetener. Would be great with some choc chips or even some puréed dates to make a sticky date pudding.Goes Well With:Fruit, granola, yoghurt

Mixes fine, tastes fine. Texture is like - imagine a cake that comes in a can... It's whey protein so if you over cook it it comes out like a sponge so just slightly under cook it and it will come out like a self saucing pudding. I add a little sweetener to the chocolate and use a little light cream on top. Awesome for under 250 Cal with 25g of protein. Half the calories of a normal mug cake but much more filling. Goes Well With:Light cream, sugar free chocolate cips

Worst thing I’ve ever cooked
Worst mug cake I’ve ever tasted. Came out looking like a lump of foam, tasted like a lump of foam. Literally so easy to create your own that tastes 1000% better so I’ll be doing that going forward. Goes Well With:Nothing could make this edible.

So disappointing
So disappointed in this product after the positive reviews. It's dry, it's bland and I have found that no amount of pimping the recipe improves it. Sadly a waste of my hard earned money.

Unworthy buying
The mix comes in the standard packaging. Instructions are given under the ingredients, which could take a minute to find. Once you have measured and mixed it up in your favourite mug, and microwaved it for 50s at the desired power setting, the mug cake is ready. It looks delicious and well done. However! the texture and the taste are compromised. The texture on the outside looks fantastic but on the inside it's dry. The taste is nowhere close to a cake or protein shake. One can taste the artificial sweetener-like taste that is too strong. I learned that if you want to eat a piece of cake, just get the original cake and burn it off elsewhere.

These are great. Microwave for less than the instructions recomend, so it stays moist and gooey. I microwave for 24 secs. Perfect. Yum.Goes Well With:Milk.

best protein mug cake on the market
always keep this stocked in the pantry, it's just too good! love a good protein bar but never feel great about all the filler ingredients - this cake mix is just as satisfying without those extra fillers (gelling & bulking agents, excessive sugar alcohols, palm oil etc) so i don't feel bad about having it regularly! pros: tastes great (just don't add too much liquid), filling in a satisfying way, easy to make, great macros, can fiddle around with ratios/quantities to change the texture based on preferences (there's some science behind it hahah) cons: (1) mixing requires some effort - i recommend using a hand whisk for best results. TIP: whisk the mix and leave it to sit for about 30 mins - the remaining clumps dissolve and the mixture thickens slightly, cooks faster and has a fluffier texture (2) i personally don't like the way it turns out when cooked according to instructions. i tend to lower the power so i can get a more even cook rather than a rubbery centre and liquid outside. (3) sodium levels are too high, especially in the salted caramel flavour. could do with being reduced as most people already get too much sodium in their diet.Goes Well With:by itself or sf maple syrup if im really craving sweet things

Omg this protein mug cake is fantastic mixes well taste is delicious takes a minute to make with 25 grams of protein what’s not to love I also add some whipped cream on top and couple of sliced strawberries perfect dessert or protein filled snack Goes Well With:Strawberries cream or ice cream
