Protein: Why You Need It?

*Heads up, these details are based on unflavoured Impact Whey Isolate. The nutritional content may vary based on the flavour you choose.
Why settle for less? Impact Whey Isolate is one of the purest proteins out there.
Here’s how it’s made. Whey comes from cow’s milk and is rich in protein — we take the best bits to make whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate.
It then goes through a purifying process that kicks out lactose, leaving you with Impact Whey Isolate, a shake that's a whopping 90% protein. It's what sets it apart.
Amino Acids
Impact Whey Isolate is rich in essential amino acids, including BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids), too. They're the key players your body can't make on its own and the necessary building blocks for protein synthesis, helping to stimulate muscle growth and recovery.1
Take a look at the full amino acid profile. It's a breakdown of all the essential amino acids, including powerful BCAAs.
When to take Impact Whey Isolate?
As this protein shake is fast absorbing, we recommend having it 30-60 minutes’ post-workout — add 1 large scoop (25g) to water or milk, whichever you prefer. It’s a great way to boost your protein intake any time of the day though, and you can enjoy a huge range of flavours.
What does Impact Whey Isolate work well with?
Impact Whey Isolate is an ideal blend for minimising your carb and fat intake, perfect if you’re trying to lose weight and tone-up. And, to get more from your workout and help you train harder, have a serving of THE Pre-Workout before you exercise. It’s a powerful blend of caffeine and creatine that helps get you firing on all cylinders.2

*Important Product Notice*
A new regulation relating to the labelling of allergens is being introduced in Australia and New Zealand. The aim of the new regulation is to improve allergen information by presenting the prescribed allergens in plain English, creating a consistent and easily understood format across food labels that makes it easier for consumers to read and understand.
A key change due to this regulation is that Tree Nuts can no longer be used as a catch-all phrase, rather labels must be more specific on the type of tree nut. Labels must state the exact tree nut contained in the product e.g. almond, Brazil nut, cashew, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan, pine nut, pistachio, walnut.
There will be some further adjustments relating to additives and processing aids derived from allergenic materials. These must be declared in bold type within the ingredient listing and also captured in the Contains statement after the list of ingredients. Noting that wheat-derived ingredients are often used as an additive in flavours, so in some cases where the flavour supplier cannot confirm the level/existence of gluten from a wheat-derived ingredient, we have chosen to state Contains wheat, gluten” to ensure we protect our consumers as much as possible.
During the transition to comply with this new regulation (3-year transition + 2-year sell-through period), you may notice changes to our label layout and the way allergens are listed on the labels of our products and many other products on the Australian and New Zealand marketplace.
We are working to update our labels and website in alignment, but in some cases, there may be a slight difference in timing, thus we appreciate your patience as we endeavour to roll out these changes as swiftly as possible. For any product queries, please reach out to our Customer Services team.

Don’t buy choc peanut butter flavour
So I had made my second purchase of whey isolate. First order choc smooth and flavour okay although mixing not the best protein powder I’ve had. Decided to try two new flavours. Haven’t tasted salted caramel yet but have tried the choc peanut butter. I have to say it doesn’t taste like chocolate or peanut butter and leaves a bitter aftertaste. Contacted my protein and told it meets requirements.

Impact Whey Isolate
This protein is great. The taste of some of the flavours is the best I have had. Strawberries and cream is a favourite. Most recently the chocolate peanut butter is a new favourite also. Will continue to use these proteins for a very long time. Goes Well With:Smoothies. Cheeky dessert with Greek yogurt and your favourite protein. Overnight oats are next level with these proteins.

Happy Customer
Wasn't sure about trying this brand as it was cheaper (mainly due to the fantastic deals). Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Is a great quality protein which tastes really good (gave 4 stars as have had better tasting one but that brand is way more expensive). Will be buying more of this for sure. Wife likes it too for her smoothies.Goes Well With:Mix the chocolate one with ricotta/cottage cheese and some berries for a chocolate cheesecake smoothie that tastes awesome!

Chalky
Has a very chalky consistency, doesnt mix well and it has a very weird bitter aftertaste

Chocolate Peanut Butter
The artificial peanut flavor was terrible, to the point where I found the product undrinkable.

Not very nice
Didn’t really enjoy this product. Flavour is poor/weird - almost acidic, doesn’t mix into things like overnight oats well. Won’t be repurchasing I’ll stick to the classic whey protein

Utter Disappointment
Hi Team MyProtein, I am utterly disappointed with my recent purchase of Impact Whey Isolate. I have been a customer for over 2 years and the taste of the product has change three times. This one, by far is the worst. I couldn't even finish my two scoops as it was simply sugar water which has more sugar than the water. I had to throw some of it away as even after adding more water to it, all it was was sugar water. The whey protein smells weird and tastes even worse.
